“ The rule of thumb is that the best teriyaki in Seattle is the local spot nearest to you and I certainly feel that I got lucky with Teriyaki Plus. I went on a weekday about 30 minutes before closing and waited around 5 minutes for the food. It cost about 15 bucks for the regular chicken teriyaki, but they are super generous - there were 3 layers of chicken. The flavor was solid: solid char and great balance of sweet and savory. The cucumber salad is fresh and tangy, making for a great side dish with the meal. Overall, the meal was delicious, relatively healthy, and solid value. The restaurant itself was very clean; though as others mention, the parking situation could definitely be a bit better, as for some reason half the spots are all reserved for Jack in the Box. ”

“ Portions were pretty good for an average of $15. Once upon a time, teriyaki was provided in this volume for $7-$9, but at least this place didn't go with both shrink-flatiron AND inflation. They increased prices as expected, but respected reasonable portions. So many places have given in and cut both corners now. We were happy with our meals. Chicken was flavorful and not dry or undercooked. We did ask for our meals to be well done, but we do that at all teriyaki places. They break the mold by providing cucumber salad instead of standard iceberg lettuce and dressing. I found the cucumber salad to have a bit too much vinegar for me, but my husband happy with it. I still enjoyed it as it cut the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce, which also happily wants not overly sweet. Additional plus is they actually provide undiluted sriracha sauce. I have come across at least 3 teriyaki establishments that dilute their hot sauces with teriyaki sauce now. To note, this place isn't necessarily a fast eat. As a to go order, it took a little over 20 min to receive or order an early Saturday evening. Parking is limited in front, but if you don't mind parking a bit further behind the complex and a five minute walk, then there's no problem. Space is very clean and looks like it may have been recently renovated or at least repainted. My husband said the restroom was clean. Highly recommend. ”

“ One of these days when I don't open up the take out carton and start eating right away I'm going to add a picture. It's sometimes the little things that count, like a cucumber salad instead of the traditional salad that looks like it came from a bag at Costco. Sometimes it's the big things that matter, like a portion that is easily enough for two meals. The quality always matters, and Teriyaki Plus consistently delivers 5 stars. ”

“ This is a really good local teriyaki spot I like to go to. I always get takeout and it is a very smooth and seamless experience. So far I have only tried the teriyaki and the yakisoba. I'd say the move is the teriyaki as the portions are huge and it comes with lots of chicken. The taste is of course really good too as the chicken isn't too fatty or dry and has a nice char. It always lasts me multiple meals and one time I got double meat so it lasted me even more meals. One thing I really like about this place in comparison to other teriyaki spots is the fact that they give you a marinated cucumber salad instead of the usual iceberg lettuce with an overly sweet mayo based dressing. The cucumbers are lighter and pair better with the rice and meat. They use a good amount of sauce on the chicken as well but I always like extra sauce for my rice too. The yakisoba is also really flavorful as they use lots of sauce for it as well and it is also a huge portion. It does not come with as much meat as the classic teriyaki w/rice combo though. I do like the mushrooms they add to it which most places don't do. If you want it spicy it does cost a $1 extra and they do close early so be aware if you are getting hungry later that they may not be open as they close at 7:00pm or 7:30pm. In my opinion it is one of the best teriyaki spots around so if you are in the area it is well worth a try! ”

“ They say the best teriyaki is the place closest to you; well I feel very lucky that this gem is my local spot! The chicken teriyaki is superb, with large portions of juicy chicken thighs for a great price ($15). It includes a pickled cucumber side salad, which is definitely a level better than the typical butter lettuce that other places give. They also give a generous portion of well-cooked rice to pair with the beautiful pile of chicken. There's ample seating inside with a TV set to the local news or sporting event. I usually take my food to-go though. The service is spectacular too! They are very friendly and quickly learn your name. Or perhaps that's because I usually go about once a week... ”

“ I order takeout from here at least twice a month because it's good and you get great value. For ~$15, you get a box of food weighing around 1kg (yes, I put it on a scale). It's not the juiciest chicken thigh you can get, but if you're looking for a protein-packed meal that tastes pretty good, this is the place. This box came with 425g of chicken! This easily becomes 2.5 meals for me. The rice here is also usually cooked well; one week I went and the rice was a tad dry. This teriyaki sauce is the thicker kind and tastes on the sweeter side. They also add small containers of teriyaki sauce and garlic sauce. I like the sweet and sour pickled cucumber that they have here instead of the iceberg lettuce salad that is usually served at other places. Haven't found a comparable place in the area in terms of quality and quantity. ”

“ After one visit, I'm happy to add this restaurant into my list of favorite teriyaki restaurants! I stopped by for takeout 30 minutes before they closed. The restaurant is clean, bright, casual with little decoration. It was fairly empty but lots of people coming in and out for takeout. Parking is easy to find. I got the chicken teriyaki and katsu, which comes with a side of cucumber salad and garlic dressing. The salad dressing was really good! The chicken teriyaki was great, the sauce was really good and flavourful! I didn't purchase additional teriyaki sauce but I'll be buying more sauce on the side next time! The katsu was on point. The staff was nice, I had no problem with picking up the order. The portion was generous for the price, I have half of the meal leftover for the next day. I will definitely come back! ”
